Unlocking Diabesity: A Multimodality Approach to the Treatment of Obesity and Diabetes

This CME event is designed to introduce Primary Care physicians to the epidemic of diabesity impacting the lives of their patients. Through in depth discussion, physicians will learn about the correlation between obesity and Type 2 diabetes, and the related comorbidities diabesity patients experience. The panel will discuss the benefits of treating patients with a multi-modality approach, including nutritional counseling, medications for diabetes and obesity, and bariatric surgery for successful long-term weight loss and diabetes management.
