CME Accreditation
CineMed holds the distinction for being one of the first 3 organizations awarded joint accreditation as a provider of continuing education for healthcare professionals.
Joint Accreditation establishes the standards for education providers to deliver continuing education planned by the healthcare team, for the healthcare team. This distinction is awarded from 3 global leaders in the field of accreditation:
- Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)
- American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)
CineMed provides continuing education accreditation in partnership with the following organizations
Joint Providership
CineMed partners with select groups and associations to jointly accredit their educational events and activities. CineMed works in partnership to ensure that the ACCME Essential Areas and the Standards for Commercial Support of Continuing Medical Education are being met. CineMed is only able to consider requests for joint providership that meet the requirements.
Requests for joint providership require completion of CineMed's Application and Planning Forms at least two months in advance of the activity start date. The following guidelines outline the steps to be followed.
