The patient is a 52 year old male presented with a 2.3 x 1.8 x .173 cm melanoma. This video illustrates the standard technique of sentinel lymph node biopsy in patients with malignment melanoma and the use of blue dye and the gamma probe detection technique. Also, it demonstrates an in-transit sentinel lymph node and demonstrates an aberrant drainage pathway from the right back to the left groin.
