While visceral artery aneurysms are uncommon, their may be a life-threatening event. After reviewing the diagnosis and treatment of such aneurysms, we present the case of an incidentally discovered splenic artery aneurysm. We demonstrate the laparoscopic approach to the resection of this aneurysm, using laparoscopic color-flow Doppler intraoperatively to elucidate splenic vascular anatomy.
