To prevent aortic stump blow-out in patients with an infected aortic graft, we employ a retroperitoneal in-line aortic bypass with PTFE graft through clean tissue planes using an extended pos-terolateral retroperitoneal approach, followed by transperitoneal removal of the infected graft. This program demonstrates this surgical technique.
