This video provides details of the technique for subfascial division of incompetent perforating veins and illustrates the technique of paratibial fasciotomy. Standard laparoscopic video equipment and instrumentation, two - or sometimes three ?laparoscopic ports, CO 2 insufflation and a pneumatic tourniquet were used. Preliminary clinical results of 26 procedures indicate low complication rate and very satisfactory early clinical improvement.
