An asymptomatic female was found to have a 10 cm anterior mediastinal mass on her screening chest radiograph. Evaluation confirmed a venous aneurysm of the left innominate vein. Resection of the vascular aneurysm was accomplished utilizing cardiopulmonary bypass and simple staple ligation of the sac. Permanent histology was compatible with true aneurysm.
