Correction of a symptomatic preocclusive innominate arterial stenosis in a young woman by ascending aorta to innominate arterial bypass resulted in resolution of symptoms. The patient had exercise ischemia of the right arm, as well as intermittent transient ischemic attacks manifested by left upper extremity numbness and weakness.
