Previously we presented a video indicating that argon laser arterial recanalization (LAR) was useful for constructive vascular surgery in selected situations. It was, however, impossible in densely calcified atherosclerotic plaques. Recently, we introduced YAG-LAR because of its capability to deliver increaed power levels. Technical considerations of the procedure will be presented.
