A 48 year old man with two previous failed renal transplants had uncontrolled hypertension despite aggressive medical therapy. Bilateral laparoscopic nephreetomy was performed transperitoncally with one 12 min and six 5 min punctures. The patient was discharged 48 hours later. The blood pressure was subsquently controlled with one antihypertensive agent.
