Uro-laparoscopic surgery is progressing from ablative to reconstructive surgery. Patients with ureteropelvic junction obstruction have previously been offered only open pyeloplasty or percutaneous endopyelotomy. Herein is presented the laparoscopic approach to pyeloplasty. Despite longer operating time from this less invasive procedure, patients benefit in the postoperative period.
