A pair of symptomatic anterior calyceal diverticula were resected laparoscopically. Delineation of anatomy with computed tomography, pyelography, and intraoperative retrograde instillation of methylene blue was invaluable. The argon beam coagulator provided excellent hemostasis. The patient returned to normal activity, symptom free, eight days postoperatively. Laparoscopic renal surgery with the argon beam coagulator has potential for wide-spread application.
