This is a video describing and demonstrating our experience with an autologous homologous skin construct derived from epidermal stem cells. In the video we go into detail on our novel protocol for deploying this skin technology as well as include the results of our case series. We include at the end multiple case examples delineating our success. Our patient population included full-thickness wounds in the setting of trauma and acute care surgery. To date, there has been no other skin substitute able to regenerate the complex architecture of healthy skin and this is the first case series describing epidermal stem cell skin grafting.
