The case is a 47 year old man who presented after blunt abdominal trauma. He was found to have active ileocolic arterial bleeding. He was taken to the operating room for a diagnostic laparoscopy. The arterial bleeding was controlled and the mesentery was repaired. A large amount of hemoperitoneum was irrigated and suctioned. The patient tolerated the procedure and was discharged to rehab after a 22 day hospital stay.
