This 26 year old patient sustained a traumatic right leg amputation and a closed degloving injury of the gluteal region with transection of the rectum after a motor vehicle crash. He underwent fecal diversion, planned debridgment of devitalized degloved tissue and subsequent reapproximation of the anorectal injury. The extent of the injury and repair of the anorectal injury are presented.
