The management of Hirschsprung's disease in the older child with advanced megacolon is quite different from that of the patient diagnosed during infancy. This film demonstrates the appliction of the Swenson Pull-Through operation in treating an 11 year old boy with advanced congenital megacolon in a one-stage operation without a preliminary colostomy.
