This video presents a patient with pancreatic carcinoma. The Whipple procedure is depicted, emphasizing assessment of receptivity, the resection of the tumor itself, and the reconstruction of the pancreas, bile duct, and stomach. A choledochojejunostomy "inkwell", pancreaticojejunostomy and duodenojejunostomy are demonstrated. Of interest is the placement of a splanchnic catheter for pain control.
