This video describes and demonstrates a pancreaticoduodenectomy performed for an intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm arising in the head of the pancreas. The clinical information concerning the presentation and diagnosis of IPMNs are provided in addition to the video demonstrating the surgical procedure. The patient's final pathology demonstrated microscopic foci of invasive carcinoma. Survival information, as well as recommendations for long term follow-up is provided.
