Minimally invasive surgery is prevalent in pancreatic surgery and beneficial to enhance patients' recovery. We introduce a case of total laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy in treating giant serous cystadenoma of pancreas. This patient is a 25-year-old woman, with a chief complaint of epigastric pain and distension for one month. Enhanced CT of abdomen manifests that multiple round masses with low density and the largest one is measured 94*68.4mm. Partial cystic wall could be seen intensified. Considering her age and the pathology of the tumor, we performed the surgery of total laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy with splenectomy. In the operation, we carefully blocked blood vessels and separate connective tissues. We dissected the whole specimen of tumor and the whole spleen. This patient was discharged from hospital after POD10 with removal of drainage.
