A 57 year old male with recurrent pancreatitis demonstrated dilated proximal pancreatic ducts on ERCP and CT scan. Intraoperative pancreatoscopy localized the process to the proximal pancreatic ducts. Complete excision of the proximal ductal system was performed utilizing the Cavitron ultrasonic dissector. IPMT with negative margins was confirmed. Our management allowed correct localization and conservative but adequate treatment.
