In 1985 Berger described the resection of the cephalic pancreas for the patient with chronic symptomatic pancreatitis and cephalic "mass." Three patients are presented in this video and the technique of preserving the duodenum with 5-10 cm of attached pancreas. A Roux-en-Y loop was used for a telescoping end-to-end pancreatojejunostomy and a latero-latero pancreatic rim and choledochojejunostomy.
