This young woman, 23 years of age, had recurrent episodes of abdominal pain since infancy. She was found to have recurrent pancreatitis at age ten. At age 15, she underwent a sphincteroplasty of her pancreatic duct and was relieved for eight years. She then developed a recurrence of her pancreatitis. ERCP showed a dilated pancreatic duct with stricture at the terminal end of the duct. A pancreaticojejunostomy was performed. She remains free of pancreatitis four years postoperatively.
