This tape demonstrates correction of temporomandibular ankylosis, progressive facial asymmetry, and an occlusal tilt. The procedure includes excision of the ankylosis, mandibular sagittal osteotomy, Le Fort I osteotomy to level the occlusal plane combined with self-retention and mini-plates, fixation of the jaws, construction of a new T.M.J. with a costo-chrondral graft, and a genioplasty to produce symmetry.
