This video describes a modified neck dissection performed in patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma. The dissection is driven through a cervicotomy, advancing along the posterior cleavage of the SCM muscle. This access lowers specific morbility (nerves & parathyroids lesions), and allows a better cosmetic result.
