This videotape will demonstrate the author's method of videographic documentation of ENT intraoral procedures using the operating microscope and video cameras. The advantages of this technique are: (1) it provides an excellent surgeon's eye view, (2) no shadow of the lips, the surgeon's head or hand are seen, (3) it provides even illumination, (4) various magnifications can easily be obtained, and (5) contrary to general belief, microscopic videography produces a sharp image of intraoral procedures. Microscopic videography is the most effective method of teaching and documenting intaoral ENT procedures.
