This videotape describes modern treatment of severe craniofacial anomalies. The case history involves a child with a severe hypertelorism and a midfacial cleft extending from the lips through the skull. However, the patient was neurologically normal. Modern techniques of exposure, correction of the defect, arranging the facial bones, and plating them in position are described.
