Tissue expansion has become an accepted method for reconstruction, often being a viable alternative to more time-honored methods. This video will demonstrate how intraoperative tissue expansion was used to close large defects of the forehead and occiput in one surgical setting. The procedure was carried out in an 18-month-old female as a method, with follow-up included through 18 months.
