This video presents the surgical separation of thoracopagus conjoined twins. Separation required delineation and division of shared organs so that each twin would be a functional unit.Closure of the resulting skeletal muscle and soft tissue defects was facilitated by tissue expansion techniques and prosthetic materials. Preoperative planning, evaluation, and surgical options will be discussed.
