Patient is an 81 year old male who presented with an incidentally found large Bochdalek hernia. The patient was optimized and underwent a laparoscopic repair. The stomach and hernia sac were fused to the left lung, requiring a wedge resection of the left lung for mobilization. The hernia was closed in an anterior to posterior fashion. The patient did well post operatively and was discharged on post operative day 5.
