Introduction: The repair of subxyphoid hernias can be technically challenging due to proximity of bony structures and the pericardium. We present a case of a lapaposcopic repair of a multiply recurrent subxyphoid hernia.
Methods: Technical aspects of a laparoscopic repair are discussed.
Results: Successful laparoscopic repair of the subxyphoid hernia. The patient was discharged on postoperative day 4.
Conclusion: Laparoscopic repair of subxyphoid hernias is technically feasible.
