The plug technique is demonstrated in five different types of hernia, this technique, performed under local anesthesia, is shown for a direct and indirect hernia. In a large direct hernia with wall deficiency, a double plug is applied. In a pantaloon hernia and a recurrent hernia with two orifices, two plugs are used.
