Closure of the diabetic foot and ankle ulcers is a challenging problem. Six vascularized pedicled flaps are described, and the anatomic details of the dissection are emphasized. If the blood supply to the selected flap is intact, then the flap can be a very effective way of closing these difficult wounds.
