This videotape describes surgical options in the treatment of cutaneous melanoma. Guidelines for choosing appropriate surgical margins of excision are discussed, and alternative methods of closing the skin are presented. Finally, the indications for lymphadenectomy are reviewed, as well as salient technical points regarding cervical, axillary and inguinal lymph node dissection.
