Experience with robotic gastrectomy worldwide is currently in its nascence. Encouraging data for the use of robotic-assisted techniques in gastric surgery has been published, but further efforts to standardize techniques of robotic gastrectomy will improve safety of surgery. In addition, sharing magnified and clear surgical vision with trainees will enhance their understanding of detailed anatomy; therefore, robotic surgery platform is considered an ideal tool for education. In this presentation, we present 10 steps of robotic total gastrectomy with D2 lymph node dissection, to demonstrate essential key points of the procedure.
