This video shows laparoscopic resection of insulinoma in three patients (one man and two women), by enucleation (2) and excision (1). The patients had no complications after the operation, and were discharged home at post operative day one and two. Follow-up between 9 and 38 months showed no evidence of recurrence. Laparoscopic resection of insulinoma can be safely performed. Laparoscopic ultrasound was useful to confirm the location of the tumor and its relationship to vessels and pancreatic duct. Appropriate cases for laparoscopic enucleation and excision of insulinoma are tumors located in the anterior surface, inferior border and tail of pancreas, which location was detected on preoperative CT scan or EUS.
