Robotic surgical systems which allow finely-tuned motions may be ideal for advanced laparoscopic procedures such as Heller myotomy. Improved imaging may help in the identification of residual circular muscle fibers and prevention of esophageal perforation. In this video presentation, key points in a robotic laparoscopic Heller myotomy are demonstrated.
