The short esophagus must be definitively treated at surgery or the feared slipped Nissen fundoplication will result. Two mini-inva-sive techniqes have been developed to lengthen esophagi. The purpose of this video is to demonstrate a combined laparoscopic thoracoscopic lengthening procedure and a laparoscopic stapling procedure for short esophagus.
