Simple excision is the treatment of choice for patients with symptomatic mesenteric cysts. We treated two patients with large upper abdominal mesenteric cysts successfully using a laparoscopic approach. This video illustrates our laparoscopic technique for excision of these cysts using a combination of sharp and blunt dissection, electrocautery, and an ultrasonic dissector.
