Minimally invasive techniques for the surgical treatment of esophageal diseases have become widespread in treating gastroesophageal reflux disease and achalasia. This video presents what we believe is the first-time use of the laparoscopic technique to treat a patient with an epiphrenic diverticulum and a sliding hiatal hernia.
