The wound healing process is a complex one that includes hemostasis, inflammation, epithelialization, angiogenesis, wound contraction, fibroplasia, and wound remodeling. All of these as-pects of the process require biochemical and cellular activities. This video summarizes these basic biochemical and cellular activities in addition to discussing the effects of pharmacologic agents on healing.
