Minimal surgery is an original non-resectional procedure proposed for the surgical management of multiple-sited jejuno-ileal Crohn's disease in order to avoid the risk of a short bowel syndrome. "Conservative Surgical Management" is an enlargement of such an approach. Indications can be included other than uncomplicated multiple strictures of the small bowel, even duodenal strictures and, most of all, the typical terminal ileitis.
