Laparoscopic Nissen fundoplication has become increasingly popular among surgeons in the United States. Because this new operation is technically difficult and infrequently performed by most surgeons, complications may occur. In this videotape, major complications of laparoscopic fundoplication are shown and successful techniques in avoiding and correcting such complications are demonstrated.
