This tape illustrates a new surgical procedure in the treatment of multiple small bowel Crohn's strictures, which are not otherwise amenable to the usual techniques of strictureplasty. This technique offers another tool in the armamentarium of the general surgeon to avoid extensive intestinal resection in patients with Crohn's disease.
