This video describes the technique of mobilization of the esophagus via the right thoracoscopic approach. The patient in question had a mid-esophageal tumor and, after the entire esophagus and the tumor were dissected free and the azygos vein divided, the patient underwent a total transhiatal esophagectomy with a cervical esophagogastrostomy.
