Year Produced: 1991
Length: 10 min.

Established operative procedures for correction of total aganglionosis of the colon result in a prolonged period of often incapacitating diarrhea before acceptable stooling pattern is achieved. The one-stage ileoendorectal pullthrough, combined with an onlay patch of aganglionic right colon, results in a significantly shortened obligatory period of intestinal adaption. Details of the procedure and an analysis of the results are presented.
