Therapeutic applications of the Nd:YAG laser in colorectal disease are increasingly recognized and utilized. The goal of endoscopic laser therapy may be curative, palliative, or as a temporizing measure prior to definitive surgical therapy. Cases are presented illustrating the technique and results of the endoscopic laser therapy for each of the following indications: 1) sessile colorectal polyps, 2) polyposis syndromes, and 3) colorectal cancer.
