Endoscopic procedures for the treatment of sporadic primary hyperparathyroidism have become quite widespread during the last 3 years. So long the loco-regional anaesthesia, which is often proposed for conventional parathyroidectomy, was never used for endoscopic operations because of their supposed length and complexity. The film shows an endoscopic parathyroidectomy under loco-regional anaesthesia.
