This program demonstrates the current procedure used at our institution for the creation of a Kock continent ileostomy. It should be noted that this operation is a difficult procedure which was performed infrequently in 1994. The reason for this is the high complication rate following the construction of the Kock pouch. In addition to the demonstrated technique, reference will be made to the various modifications of the technique in order to try to improve the results and decrease the revisionary surgery rate.
