This is the case of a 65 year-old male who suffered blunt abdominal trauma with significant sigmoid colon injury. He underwent an emergent Hartmann's procedure and three months later had a laparoscopic Hartmann's reversal with a linear stapled side-to-side intracorporeal anastomosis. The patient suffered no complications and went home on post-operative day 3.
