This video demonstrates creation of an electrically stimulated gracilis muscle neosphincter in a patient with complete fecal incontinence. This program demonstrates both the initial muscle wrap and implantation of the pulse generator, and briefly reviews the operation's physiologic basis and the results seen with this operation at the University of Minnesota.
